Dendrobium Sonia is a subspecies of Dendrobium Phalaenopsis, which, as its name suggests, is a plant with a habitat and appearance similar to that of the Phalaenopsis orchid. These dens are frequently seen in cut flower arrangements and as a dish garnish in Asian restaurants, in addition to leis (particularly Thai). The blooms are said to be edible, but I'm not sure how I feel about eating flowers. Personally, I'd prefer to simply nurture flowers and admire their beauty in my home.
